L’édition 2013 du Pro Bowl a eu lieu dimanche dernier s’achevant sur un score de 65 à 38 pour l’équipe de la NFC.
Cette année, 4 Gmen participaient à la rencontre: Eli Manning (3e séleciton), Victor Cruz (2e sélection), Chris Snee (4e sélection) et JPP (2e sélection).
Durant cette rencontre, Eli compléta 16 passes sur 23 tentées pour 191 yards, 2 TD et une interception retournée pour un TD par Derrick Johnson, LB des Chiefs. L’un de ses TD a été réalisé grâce à la collaboration d’une cible qu’il connaît bien : Victor Cruz. Eli a également envoyé une longue passe de 52 yards ainsi qu’un TD de 3 yards au TE des Vikings et MVP du Pro Bowl, Kyle Rudolph
Ce dernier termine la rencontre avec 10 réceptions pour 96 yards et donc 1 TD.
Le dernier joueur offensif de Big Blue à participer au Pro Bowl était Chris Snee et on ne peut pas dire qu’il se soit réellement illustré aux 2 positions de G. Ceci dit c’est assez normal de la part d’un joueur qui sort d’une mauvaise saison durant laquelle il a été énormément gêné par diverses blessures.
Enfin JPP n’a eu qu’un placage et un sack mais il a également eu une interception alors qu’il était aligné en tant que CB contre JJ Watt qui est normalement un DE dans une formation 3-4 chez les Texans. Cela fait partie des choses originales et marrantes que l’on peut voir au Pro Bowl

Alors les stats que tu as mis sont celles de Victor Cruuuuuuuuuz car celles de Rudolph sont de 5rec pour 122 yds et 1TD!!
Ensuite tu es bien méchant avec Snee car pendant le probowl les O Lines bloquent du bout des doigts et la D-Line charge tranquille. Pour une passe, la protect tiens mais lors lors d’une course, bon courage au running pour faire son trou!! Donc juger un centre, un guard, un tackle sur le probowl, aucun sens!!!! Comme tous les autres poste, plus ça va plus ils vont bientot jouer en tongs!!!

Pour les stats, c’est une petite faute de rédaction car en disant « ce dernier » je parlais de Cruz en ayant oublié que j’avais parlé de Rudolph entretemps.
Sinon pour Snee, je disais ça car j’ai trouvé qu’il était en mode porte de saloon durant le match alors que d’autres joueurs tentaient de bloquer un minimum. Après, considérant que Snee jouait blessé on peut en effet se dire qu’il ne jouait pas à fond pour se ménager.

Victor Cruz wants to remain a New York Giant. The organization wants the same. But the two parties are not close to deal.
Cruz will be a restricted free agent and has been one of the biggest bargains in football the last two seasons. He made $540,00 in 2012. Giants owner John Mara was asked if a deal will get done before next season?
« I hope so, and we certainly want him back, » Mara said, Newsday’s Bob Glauber reported. « But, like with any player, there’s a limit to where we’re going to go [monetarily]. He’s been a terrific player for us, he’s a fan favorite, he does a lot for our franchise, but there is a limit. But I hope we can get him back, and you know what, this is the best place for him to be playing. He’s become such a fan favorite, he’s become so popular in this area.
« I think it’s in his best interest to stay. But that’s sales pitch anyway. I think we’ll get something done. … But if not, God bless him, we’ll wish him luck. »
Mara believes Cruz will test the market and he should command a first-round tender as a receiver with 2,628 yards, 19 touchdowns and a Pro Bowl selection in the last two seasons.
« In an ideal world, yeah, we would like to have him back, » Mara said. « But I understand he’s going to test the market and he’s entitled to do that but we’ll see what happens down the road. … There’s a limit with any player, you have a salary cap, if you spend too much money on him, that’s going to limit what you can do in other areas where we have needs. So I’m hopeful that we’re going to be able to make a deal. We have a year to get that worked out.
« (He) is a high priority, he absolutely is, but he’s not our only priority. You have to have 53 guys signed and we have some needs in other areas, too. But listen, we do want him back and he is certainly a priority and I’m still optimistic about it. »
Mara flat-out said Cruz has asked for too much money « right now…but that’s his agent, » The Star Ledger’s Jenny Vrentas reported.
That’s normal. Cruz goes with a high number and the Giants go low and they meet somewhere in the middle. That’s negotiation. Cruz is entering his fourth year and has put up huge numbers with Eli Manning being the only other Pro Bowl talent of the offensive skill positions. The Giants would be mistaken to let Cruz walk after they developed him from an undrafted rookie free agent.
